Doctor in Medicine, primary physician at the Ophthalmological Emergency Hospital in Bucharest.
Since 2003, Lecturer at the Medical University “Carol Davila” in Bucharest.
In 2000 she was appointed head of the Oculo – Plastic Surgery Department at the Ophthalmological Emergency Clinical Hospital in Bucharest.
Member of “Romanian Society of Ophthalmology”. Member of the “European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery”. Member of the “French Society of Ophthalmology”.
In 1994 she specialized in oculo-plastic surgery at Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic “Adolphe de Rothschild”, Paris, France. She is the first doctor in Romania who obtained an over-qualifying Certificate in plastic and reconstructive ophthalmic surgery from the Ministry of Health, 2002.
In 2001 she specialized in the “Refractive Surgery, Palpebral Surgery and Phacoemulsification” – “Saint Augustine” Clinic, Nantes, France. Specialized in “Tear-duct Surgery and Ophthalmological Microsurgery” – Ophthalmology Clinic “Saint-Roch”, Nice, France.
In 2003 she followed a new specialization course in “Oculo-Plastic Surgery” Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery “Adolphe de Rothschild”, Paris.
In the past ten years she has performed over 13.000 surgeries with a very wide range (over 20 different types of surgery).
She has published over 20 scientific papers in various publications, in congresses and conferences in the country and abroad.
